[slackware-security] Slackware 14.2 kernel (SSA:2021-072-01)
New kernel packages are available for Slackware 14.2 to fix security issues.
Here are the details from the Slackware 14.2 ChangeLog:

These updates fix various bugs and security issues, including the recently
announced iSCSI vulnerabilities allowing local privilege escalation.
Be sure to upgrade your initrd after upgrading the kernel packages.
If you use lilo to boot your machine, be sure lilo.conf points to the correct
kernel and initrd and run lilo as root to update the bootloader.
If you use elilo to boot your machine, you should run eliloconfig to copy the
kernel and initrd to the EFI System Partition.

Är en rebuild och ingen "uppdatering".
Från ChangeLog:
"xap/mozilla-firefox-78.8.0esr-x86_64-2.txz: Rebuilt.
Rebuilt with --enable-system-nss and --enable-system-nspr"
Detta orsakar problem vid uppspelning av video-klipp
(YouTube, Amazon Prime, för att nämna några).
Men även media i andra tjänster så som nyhets sidor etc.

Redigerat: Firefox, kontrollera att din "mirror" har korrekt build version (-3) för Firefox.
Enligt info ska detta fungera.
Så kontrollera att du uppdaterar med:

OCH
d/rust-1.49.0-x86_64-1
och inte rust-1.50 (vilket är orsaken till problemet)
